About Black Ball Projects

We are an artist-run gallery looking for a dedicated and motivated intern.
For the past 2 years we have carved out a reputation for putting on excellent shows and our upcoming year is very exciting.

Black Ball Projects was founded in October 2015 and is located on the Southside of Williamsburg in Brooklyn. The gallery is run by artists Ana Wolovick & Brian Wondergem who met at Yale’s MFA program over a decade ago. We self fund the gallery alongside several silent partners and no one takes any salary. The gallery is a labor of love.

The internship is two-fold: assisting with the needs of the gallery, and helping to set-up a new non-profit Arts Organization. The Non-Profit will start as a micro-granting program for artist’s and academics and expand out from there.

In seeking an intern, and in exchange for your time, it is very important to us that we are able to teach and provide valuable experience. Please see the "Position Description" below for what we need and what we can provide.

In 2017 Black Ball Projects was selected by the NY Times as one of 10 Galleries To Visit Now in Brooklyn And was reviewed twice in the New Yorker this past year.
